Raymond F. McCaskey Diversity & Inclusion Award

The Raymond F. McCaskey Diversity & Inclusion Award honors employees who demonstrate commitment to HCSC’s diversity principles and model inclusive behaviors. The honoree’s actions must positively impact the business environment, customer satisfaction and the community’s perception of our company.

We are pleased to recognize Guy Zakrzewski, an executive administration assistant in our Information Technology Group at the Chicago headquarters, as the 2013 award recipient.

Guy believes strongly in the Golden Rule and treating everyone with respect. He has made a positive impact on HCSC and the communities it supports through his dedication to various organizations.

He is co-chair of the internal business resource group Pride Alliance Chicago, volunteers as a call crisis counselor for the Center on Halsted’s Anti-Violence Project, and serves on the Young Professionals Board for The Night Ministry, which provides shelter and health outreach for the homeless.

Additionally, Guy volunteers with Meals on Wheels Chicago and The Human Rights Campaign, and participates in the Chicago Pride Parade and the AIDS Run and Walk. He recently helped organize an Affordable Care Act reception, which brought together our community affairs team, CityWide Pride and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.

We extend our congratulations and sincere appreciation to Guy for his commitment to diversity.
